The fill made of corrugated PVC sheets are used in the fan cooling towers and are designed for cooling of technologic circulating water. The installation of irrigator blocks in the cooling tower is made in one, two or three tiers, depending on the requirements for the cooling effect. The irrigator block is a set of vacuum-molded corrugated sheets interconnected with connecting elements.

The fill with the intersection of the corrugations of OP -21 type furthers improved water distribution by splitting the water flow. When the water flow passes the surface of irrigator, it is splitted at least 6 times.

Made of corrugated PVC sheets are used in the fan and chimney type cooling towers and are designed for cooling of technologic circulating water. The irrigator block is a set of vacuum-molded corrugated sheets (with dimensions 2400 • 500 mm and a height of corrugation - 23.5 mm), which are placed with interchange of sheets with corrugations of opposite directions. The irrigators are produced according to technical specifications ТУ У 25.2-20054481.001-2001.

The heated water is sprayed on top of the sprinkler blocks and under the action of gravity flows in the form of a film on the corrugated surface of the sheets. When moving the water film from top to bottom provides intensive cooling of water in the oncoming air flow. Sprinklers made of corrugated sheets provide the largest surface area for heat and mass exchange of water with air, with smaller, compared to other types of sprinklers, aerodynamic supports and, accordingly, the highest water cooling effects. Assembly of sprinkler blocks is simple, convenient and takes little time, is carried out at the installation site.
